Born and raised in the Midwest, my love of the culinary arts began when I was a little girl. From cooking at home for my family, to youth groups, sports teams, 4-H, and church events, I’ve always had a passion to bring joy through food. By the time I reached college, I was already executing multi-meal menus, even providing 4 meals a day for my dad’s hardy construction crews. More recently, I have held the position of food service manager for Noah’s Ark Whitewater Rafting Company for 15 years, serving hundreds of people daily. I have enjoyed sharing my love of cooking through teaching catering and culinary arts courses for high school students, preparing them for culinary arts college. I am ServSafe certified and have a certification in Hospitality and Tourism.
